Sewer Scope Inspection
Sewer Scope Inspection
Most homeowners don’t think twice about their plumbing system day-to-day unless something goes wrong. If your plumbing isn’t draining as smoothly as it usually does, you’ll know that something isn’t right. Determining the cause of the problem is no simple matter. Though the signs of leaking and clogged pipes differ, without being able to see your underground pipes, it’s next to impossible to determine where this leak or clog is occurring, as well as the extent of the damage. By using a sewer camera Inspection, your Inspector has the capability to conduct a visual Inspection of sewer lines located behind your walls and deep beneath the ground.
Sewer camera Inspections provide real time photos of the inside of your sewer pipes. As will be discussed below, a sewer camera can’t identify all plumbing issues, but it is a highly useful tool for finding leaks and clogs quickly and minimally invasively.

Benefits of Sewer Camera Inspection
Drain camera Inspections are frequently used in plumbing diagnostics due to several practical reasons. One notable advantage is its cost-effectiveness: the process is efficient, relatively straightforward, and typically non-invasive. In contrast, traditional sewer line repair often involved digging trenches to access lateral lines, which could be costly and lead to significant landscaping repairs. Accessing pipes beneath building foundations generally results in even higher expenses.
Sewer Inspection equipment can detect a variety of plumbing issues. While it may not be the only tool necessary for diagnosis, it is commonly used as important component of the process. Without such Inspections, some plumbing repairs might rely more heavily on estimation, potentially leading to unnecessary work and additional expenses.
